The Village of Gilberts celebrates several events throughout the year and encourages all residents to participate in the fun and camaraderie.

• Annual Easter Egg Hunt

              Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at the Eagles Club (325 Raymond Drive, Gilberts, IL 60136).

• Gilberts Community Days

              Thursday, May 30, 2024 - Sunday, June 2, 2024
              Features events like a carnival, live music, a wide variety of food, a beer garden, and other fun activities for the entire family.

• Annual Village-wide Garage Sale

             Thursday, June 20, 2024 - Sunday, June 23, 2024

• Annual Fall Bonfire

             Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. at Memorial Park (355 Tyrrell Road, Gilberts, IL 60136).      
             Event usually includes free small pumpkins (while supplies last), pumpkin decorating, apple cider, and a hayride!     
 

• Halloween Trick-or-Treating

            Tuesday, October 31, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. - 7.00 p.m. Village-wide.

• Annual Visit with Santa 

            Friday, December 6, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Village Hall, 87 Galligan Rd, Gilberts, IL. 60136
