The Village of Gilberts Utilities Division will be flushing water mains and inspecting hydrants beginning today, Monday October 5th 2026. They will begin in Timber Trails, and move north until all hydrants have been flushed. Signs will be posted ahead of time notifying residents when flushing will begin in their neighborhood. Flushing hours are Monday - Friday, 7am-3pm.
During this time, the water is still safe to drink, but may be discolored during flushing hours. Please be advised that it is recommended to avoid washing any light-colored clothing during this time to avoid discoloration.
