2025 Village Calendar Cover Photo Contest!Get out those cameras, it's time for the Village's Annual Calendar Cover Photo Contest!
To submit your photo(s), click this link to the Google Form submission (requires a Google Account to upload your files), or you can email them directly to Riley Lynch at rlynch@villageofgilberts.com.If you email you submission, please be sure to include the name of the photographer, when the photo was taken, where it was taken, and your Gilberts address. The address is to make sure you live in Gilberts and are eligible to enter.
Each person may submit up to 2 photos for a chance to have one of them featured on the cover of the 2025 calendar! Although only 1 photo can be on the cover, 4 runner-up photos will be featured in the back of the calendar.
Submissions will be accepted until October 25th, 2024. After that, an internal team will vet the submissions and select the top 5 for the community to vote on for the winner. Note that we only vet the submissions because we don't think your selfie or meme belongs on the cover of the calendar (Sorry not sorry!)
From November 1st to November 14th the community will vote on which photo of the 5 selected should be on the cover.
The winner and runner ups will be announced on November 15th.
Calendars will be mailed to every address within the Village, and they will be available at Village Hall for free no later than the third week of December.
Additional Rules:
- This contest is only open to residents of Gilberts.
- All photo submissions must be in a horizontal format, not vertical. (the calendar cover is the size of a standard piece of copy paper in landscape orientation. Or in other words, an 8.5" by 11" area).
- Village employees, officials, and their families are not eligible to enter in this competition.
- By submitting your photo in this contest, you grant the Village of Gilberts permission to use it for the calendar and any other Village publications with credit given.
- The winner of last year's contest cannot win again this year.
