Part Time Position Gilberts Police Department
Salary:
Part-time; $20 - $24 an hour
Availability:
Part-time: Tuesday & Thursday 7:00am to 3:00pm (Occasional weekends for special events)
GENERAL DEFINITION OF WORK:
The Part Time Administrative Specialist works with a Fulltime Administrator in completing assigned duties as outlined and directed by the Chief of Police or Deputy Chief. Operational Duties vary but are not limited to the following functions:
TYPICAL FUNCTIONS:
- General Administrative Duties
- Maintain Records Management System Databases
- Liaison between the SAO, KaneComm, and other related agencies
- Assist with basic, 1st level in-house technical support
- Prepare and maintain letters, forms and other documents as needed by Command Staff
- Maintain office environment & manage office supplies
- Case Maintenance
- Prepare requisitions & purchase orders as needed
- Organize and Coordinate Special Programs
- Attends various meetings as required
- Process Overweight/Sized vehicle permits
- Other tasks as assigned by the Chief of Police
