Holiday Light Recycling

Have any Christmas/Holiday lights that are old, worn, or otherwise not working? Don't throw them out, Bring them to Village Hall to recycle them!

The Village has partnered with Elgin Recycling to offer a drop-off location for your unneeded lights right in the Village Hall parking lot at 87 Galligan Road, located in-between the Village's drop box and the Library's drop box.

Just drive up, open the bin, toss in your lights, and drive off! Please ensure that any garland, plants, or other non-recyclables are removed from your lights before you drop them off though.
