Garage Sale Update as of 5/27/20:

The Village has received official word from the State that garage sales will be permitted in Phase 3 provided that there are no groups larger than 10, people keep 6-feet distance, wear face masks, and practice social distancing and sanitation. Phase 3 begins on May 29, 2020.

Permits are not required to participate in the Community Garage Sale that takes place from June 11 to June 14. To conduct a garage sale outside of these dates, a permit is required and the online application can be found here: https://www.villageofgilberts.com/…/news/002860021003051.pdf

Garage sale permit applications along with the fee of $5.00 can either be mailed to 87 Galligan Road, Gilberts IL 60136 or dropped off in the white drop box that is located in the middle of the Village Hall parking lot.
