VILLAGE EVENTS
The Village of Gilberts celebrates several events throughout the year and encourages all residents to participate in the fun and camaraderie.
* The spring brings the Easter Bunny for some fun on the lawn as kids participate in the annual Easter Egg Hunt.
* In mid-April, residents gather to participate in the annual village-wide clean up which is held in conjunction with Earth Day.
* The annual village-wide garage sale takes place in mid-June from Thursday through Sunday. No permit necessary.
* The Village hosts "Community Days" in July or August which includes live music, food vendors and games and prizes for the kids.
* In late October, the village hosts a bonfire and hayride in Memorial Park with games, prizes and refreshments.
* In early December join us for a tree lighting ceremony. Santa arrives in town on a fire truck and visits each subdivision in the village.
